On Tuesday, June 17th, President Quinn Allen and Executive Director Andrew Herf went to the House Finance Committee to testify in support of House Bill 334. House Bill 334 (HB 334) is a approach to bring responsible gaming to Ohio in the form of placing video lottery terminals, or VLTs, in bars and establishments across Ohio. This Bill would not only provide additional revenue for small business owners, but also introduce gaming in a more responsible and less invasive manner. Additionally, these machines would be placed in visible areas of bartenders and cameras for security of both the establishment and the customers. These new machines should be more profitable to small business owners rather than sports betting machines at establishments.
